What You'll Do

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager the Project Manager is imbedded in the Office of the CTO (Aristocrat Labs) centers for excellence (COE) who are tasked with building and maintaining the gaming industries leading technology platform.

The COE’s include:

  • Research and Development

  • Content creation

  • Build and release

  • Server systems

  • Digital asset management

Each COE is at the start of an exciting journey to build out their teams, establish the tools and processes to create a new centralized, cross business unit, gaming technology deployment function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and successful execution of the COE’s operational plans including proactive hands-on delivery support for the COE leader.

  • The PM drives the cadence for the COE’s, risk and opportunity management, regular meetings, reviews, reporting, program metrics, counter measures and overall performance through adherence to established risk and process management guidelines

  • The PM has a key cross functional influencing opportunity to build confidence, trust and alignment with the wider organizations business partners.

What We're Looking For

Job Requirements

Successful operational excellence for delivery of programs demands a few critical daily, weekly, monthly requirements and duties in the role:

  • Hands on focal point to run multiple projects in the COE portfolio

  • Ensures creation and maintenance of project and program artifacts including status reports, meeting minutes, project schedules, changes, risks, issues, stage -gate/design reviews, project workflow and presentations

  • Drive the ethos of transparent, consistent, urgent, and proactive program management in the COE

  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance across the business on effective execution of project plans, management of expectations, and conflict management leading to resolution

  • Proactive, solution orientated and problem-solving mid set

  • Strong sense of accountability and team responsibility

  • Ability to build a culture of innovation and creativity aligned to the leadership of each COE

Qualifications

To be set up for success there are a range of helpful qualifications, education, certificates we think are useful for the role:

  • 7+ years of project management experience

  • Understand the product technology and software development process and pitfalls throughout planning, execution and delivery

  • Excellent grasp of stakeholder management

  • Ability to innovate in a dynamic environment with a lot of stakeholders

  • Ability to exert confidence and control in ambiguous circumstances

  • Bachelor’s degree, Project/Program Management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince, Agile, etc.), or relevant industry and work experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite

  • Experience with PPM tools such as Smartsheet, Jira and Confluence

  • Well versed with Agile methodologies as well as traditional project management

  • PMP and CSM certification is preferred
