Project Manager at Shield AI (Dallas, TX)
What You'll Do:
- Coordinating personnel for system testing and customer events
- Creating presentations for design reviews and Program Management Reviews
- Creating Program Portfolio Backlog in Azure DevOps
- Setting up and running integrated project team meetings
- Setting up and maintaining a project risk table
- Managing, tracking, and reporting progress on milestone and deliverables schedules
- Generating and maintaining project schedules
- Engaging with engineers on the design process, including sprint planning
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers including
- Developing objectives and key messages for customer meetings
- Generate Project Plans
- Manage development efforts per Project Plans
- Manage Development Schedule (updating development schedule on a weekly basis)
- Manage project budgets
- Schedule and manage weekly team meetings
- Own action item lists (internal and external)
- Manage on-going project risk mitigation
- Manage completion and submittal of Customer deliverables
- Manage and organize customer correspondence
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure all reviews are complete and drawings are released to schedule
- Manage lessons learned files
- Develop and own production ramp plans
- Coordinate import/export controls - ITAR & EAR
Required Qualifications:
- Project Management experience, including managing schedules, budget, resources, and multidisciplinary teams of engineers.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Significant experience and excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent skills in leadership, time management, organization, team management
- Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Excellent verbal and written ability
- Detailed understanding of project financials
