The Role
Our sophisticated Transformation Enablement Consulting Practice is seeking Senior Consultants to join or team. At Cognizant, we engineer modern businesses to improve everyday life, and we are seeking people who are passionate about transformation, want to make an impact, and love working together to deliver flawless results for an end-client to join us on our mission.

This role is part of our highly-regarded Transformation Enablement Advisory Practice, which is a group of Program Managers who handle the full transformation life cycle, from operational readiness to change and adoption to systems engineering and truly the entirety of organizational development for our clients. At Cognizant, we help clients with their most strategic initiatives. This group in particular works cross-functionally with the practices within Consulting to handle the orchestrion, business readiness, and design to create a model that will build organizational maturity for a client. We serve some of the most prestigious companies in the world, across industries, including Banking, Media, Energy, Healthcare, Insurance, Manufacturing, Travel, and more.

We're looking for motivated Consultants and Senior Consultants who want to take their career to the next level. This is a great opportunity for someone with a foundation in operational readiness, change management, program management, trainings, change readiness, and business readiness to apply it in an Advisory Consulting environment. The ideal candidate will have some six-sigma training (ideally a green or yellow belt) and be ready to apply it in a matrixed environment.

Examples of a background that will help you succeed are experience with Operational Readiness, Change Adoption, UAT Testing, Organizational readiness ,change readiness, Communications Training, or Business Design. In this role, you will apply your experience on a client project and/or internal initiatives, and you will be part of a team that will guide clients through complex scenarios and lead them into the digital era.

Responsibilities

  • As part of a team, consult directly with our clients and provide advisory services designed to help them solve their most complex business and technology challenges
  • Serve as a readiness lead on highly-complex, long-term, large-scale digital transformations
  • Solution business design and operational readiness; assess current state and begin to refine and start optimization for digital transformation projects for clients and internally
  • Assess and prepare for readiness from project initiation, gather business requirements, design, building/testing and implementation, and post-implementation assessment
  • Look beyond the individual pieces of an implementation and see how the broader program is intended to work; work with stakeholders to crate business requirements, understand the systems, the people who will be using them, and the end-user environment
  • Design blueprints; operate collaboratively and cross-functionally within the Cognizant Consulting practice to bring a clear vision together for a client across multiple Practice Groups, such as Finance Transformation, Organizational Change Management, Supply Chain, Technology, and more
  • Help our clients respond to and adopt market, regulatory, process, and culture changes triggered by emerging digital technologies
  • Using Cognizant framework, facilitate discussions, surveys, focus groups, and workshops to articulate vision, understand client needs, and gather input to create client recommendations and roadmap
  • Work creatively and analytically with a structured approach to problem-solving; challenge old business models by innovatively designing new user experiences and bring the client along on the journey
  • Construct targeted change management plans including communications planning, change impacts, organizational readiness, and training plans
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership efforts on an annual basis


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Project/Program Management and/or Management Consulting background with experience in Organizational Change Management, Change Adoption, Operational Readiness, Process Improvement, Business Design, or professional services and the ability to apply it in a Consulting setting.
  • PMP, PMI, PMO, PMBOK or other formal project management methodology knowledge preferred.
  • The ability to consult and prepare for operational changes; a track record of designing solutions and bringing them to life successfully
  • Previous experience in a management consulting firm focused on strategy, operations, process consulting, or project / program delivery within digital transformations is a plus
  • Personal leadership qualities; the ability to manage your work and collaboratively drive toward a common goal - the best possible outcome for a client
  • Six-Sigma knowledge; Green or Black Belt preferred
  • A desire to work with enterprise-level clients and the ability to manage through complexity
  • Experience leading technical and non-technical initiatives related to process optimization
  • An understanding of how digital solutions impact user experience; familiarity with user research, user-centered design principles, process transformation, and data analytics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working; the ability to exercise humility with confidence while consistently demonstrating leadership and professionalism
  • The ability to manage high-level stakeholders and expectations, both internally and externally
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and the proven ability to work and lead in a team-based environment to deliver flawless results for clients
  • Bachelors Degree; MBA or similar field-related graduate degree is a plus


Work Authorization
