Project Manager

The Project Manager will lead cross functional teams in planning and executing projects across departments for Movable Ink, with a focus on technical projects. You will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to scale by working on complex, strategic projects. You will specialize in technical projects, but will have exposure to projects in other areas.
Responsibilities:
- Work across departments to plan and execute strategic projects
- Partnering cross functionally with IT, Engineering, and Data Science teams and becoming an expert in their systems, processes, and needs
- Manage entire projects from kick off to completion, with a seamless handoff upon project closure
- Work with other Project/Program Managers to establish best practices and standardize project management practices where appropriate. Constantly evaluate workflows, and identify opportunities to improve individual and team efficiencies.
- Create written project plans for multi-faceted projects with details about technical dependencies, deployment order and other critical information.
- Ensure roles and responsibilities are communicated and aligned as needed and deliverable dates are proactively managed.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in working directly in a technical capacity, corporate experience preferred; 2+ years experience in a formal project management position; Identity and data/access management experience a plus
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across teams with different interests and seniority levels
- Comfortable with change, trying new approaches, making strategic recommendations regarding our way of working, and engaging in constructive debate
- Project Management certification preferred; Agile/Scrum experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized
