AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in San Diego, CA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
  • Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives.
  • Involves the overall planning, coordination and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.
  • Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
  • Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impact.
  • Manages and leads all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools.
  • May include management of small teams across business lines, in remote locations and/or management of subcontractors.
  • Manages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction.
  • Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project.
  • Acts as primary point of contact with client.
  • Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
  • Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
  • Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
  • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
  • Manages other Project Managers.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Able to successfully pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
  • Able to successfully pass client required background check and screenings

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Architecture, Construction or Engineering

  • Relocation is not available for this position.

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass client background screening.
