Project Manager, Technology, you'll fulfill IT application development project responsibilities to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions in support of XPO Logistics objectives. You'll be the liaison between IT departments, business operations, internal business partners, vendors, and external clients.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Coordinate's implementation and delivery of project deliverables and systems
• Coordinates future releases' planning and scoping
• Coordinate team member assignments, schedules, status reporting, and adherence to the project's management methodology in conjunction with resource manager
• Maintain key project documents and provide clear verbal/written communication to IT Managers/Business Stakeholders including: Project Plan/Project Schedule, work estimate, testing and quality control plan/schedule, risk management plan, Training plan/schedule, change control process, Project templates, forms, and Jira/Confluence document storage locations, Other tools and templates as needed
• Liaison with internal cross-functional teams such as: Finance, Product, Technology, Infrastructure, Legal, Information Security, etc
• Organize and facilitate meetings needed to accomplishing project objectives
• Proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues and risk

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of direct project management experience in a fast-paced software development environment
• Experience with Jira

It'd be great if you also have:

• 3 years of hands-on experience in presenting and interacting with both IT and business staff, recent enterprise level experience
• 2 years of cross functional business experience including one or more of the following: technical project management, warehousing and/or transportation management, IT solutions development, customer relationships
• Agile project management training is preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and any project/scheduling management tools such as MS Project
• Experience using Jira to manage project delivery
