About You and The Role  

Our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team  is focused on the creation, review and execution of changes to our products and processes as well as maintaining the PLM system that governs configuration control and serves as the platform for change management. The PLM Project Manager will own the maintenance and upgrade of the PLM system’s functionality to enable its users to better carry out the full spectrum of configuration control and change management activities in a systematic and standardized manner.

What You'll Do  

  • Identify current functionality issues (bugs) associated with Zipline’s PLM system and identify requests for enhancements to existing functionality.
  • In conjunction with stakeholders, prioritize bug fixes and new functionality development  for resolution with in-house or contract developer teams.
  • Project Pre-Planning: Establish product roadmaps (goals and timelines) for prioritized bug fixes and new functionality.  Compile and prioritize items in a product backlog for future development.
  • Project Planning:  In conjunction with developers, conduct planning meetings to define current release priorities. 
  • Development:  Monitor the progress of in-house/contract developer teams against scheduled bug fixes and new functionality.
  • Testing: Oversee consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of fixes and new functionality  in all stages of completion.
  • Delivery:  Deliver completed software products to stakeholders and perform regular checks on the products' performance.

What You'll Bring 

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software development management or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with key stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities and assignments while managing rapidly changing information.
