The Role:
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will support work across the entire People team. Your role will use project management tools to set up, supervise, and report on timelines, results, and dependencies for a wide variety of pivotal initiatives critical to DailyPay’s success. These will include handling the full departmental calendar, coordinating with internal and external partners, and updating the DailyPay Strategic Business Office on enterprise-wide initiatives. In the People team, we are at the forefront of key business initiatives, and this role is integrally involved in creating our team’s success!

How You Will Make an Impact:
- You’ll coordinate project work within and across verticals in People Operations (Total Rewards, Talent & DEI, Business Partner) in the People Operations team, ensuring that budgets, resources, and prioritization are kept updated. As People Operations projects sometimes pull upon other resources (Marketing, Executive Office, Strategic Business Office, Legal, Finance) you will also coordinate with and get results to these teams.
- Updating as needed scope changes of projects, project plans, when they arise and coordinating with teams to problem solve and fix issues as they arise
- Track costs and budget implications of projects
- Partner with external representatives and DailyPay Legal to ensure that vendor agreements are sourced and executed timely
- Build and maintain collaboration tools such as Smart Sheets to keep relevant colleagues updated
- Set up and lead project plans, phases of execution, landmarks, and tasks, meetings, documenting and following up on actions required and risks
- Provide ongoing project updates to CPO and other key partners
- Review and make recommendations with workstream owners as to how to address and or iterate projects, many of which will be breaking new ground and will have opposing resource dependencies. Identify compliance related issues, risks, and support training/change management efforts needed to ensure projects are successful.
- Identify and raise issues during project timelines and propose solutions, participate in after action reviews and project assessments to drive continual improvement in People processes
What You Bring to The Team:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- High degree of confidentiality, discretion, tact, and judgement
- 3-5 years of professional project management experience in a high growth, high change organization is preferred, or equivalent People Operations experience coupled with a strong process improvement and change management orientation
- Outstanding problem solving, organization, communication, and technical project management tool skills
- Ability to see around corners, create compromises, and raise concerns in a collaborative and constructive way. Capable of influencing others from this role and delivering results with and through the work of colleagues.
- A critical problem solver who is comfortable expressing a defined point of view and advocating for it, yet can be open to and flexible to input from others
- Strong work ethic, efficiency, results orientation and desire to create positive change
- Leadership confidence to interact with partners at multiple levels and across departments; working with multiple teams to drive alignment and deliver results
- PMP or other Project Management certification a plus
