Job Description:

As a Project Manager at Crowe, you will have the responsibility to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our external client projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results within the applicable statement of work and budget. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and timeline. In this specialized role, you will work directly with external clients to lead short-term and long-term engagements with project teams of 2-5 people across various industries - manufacturing, healthcare, education, and others. You will proactively identify risks and create mitigation plans to prevent project issues. You will identify blockers and work with team members to remove them and keep projects on track with their timelines. As a member of the Data Analytics team, you will provide meaningful firm-wide contributions that uphold the team's dedication to "One Crowe". Additionally, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage Agile development sprints focused on building reporting and analytics solutions
  • Direct all aspects of project management including project planning, resource scheduling, budget management, and risk logging and mitigation
  • Build comprehensive project budgets that break down development activities by workstream, task, and resource
  • Maintain and present weekly status reports of the project and keep a record of the previous reports
  • Partner with clients to train and educate stakeholders on our analytics solutions
  • Articulate the value-add of the projects deliverable and activities to client executive stakeholders
  • Adapt to various industries and quickly learn the client's context, language, and jargon to clearly document and translate business requirements to developers
  • Remove blockers from development work, mentor team members and drive towards efficient utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Encourage and motivate team members with precise and well-framed feedback that elevates execution and encourages personal growth and development

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in a Project Management role in business intelligence or corporate setting for mid-market and/or enterprise-scale organizations
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in enterprise solutions for different industries
  • High-level knowledge of BI architecture or data warehousing
  • Awareness of how dynamic reporting is built in tools like Power BI or Tableau is strongly preferred
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effectively managing multiple deliverables, clients and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
