Mission
The Project Manager is a key member of the Operations team. Your responsibility is to manage technical implementation projects in the insurance vertical.
You’ll be joining a small but mighty team consisting of three Implementations Specialists, a Director, and a Senior VP, whose tenure with the company ranges from one to six years.
Our approach is simple: Professionals need strategic direction and a clear goal. We will provide the tools and the training, and you provide expertise. We do not micromanage people and base performance on results. The quality of the projects delivered to clients will show your professional seal.
Our new employee onboarding process is structured to provide broad exposure to the company and its various product groups, and you will have opportunities to partner with experienced Subject Matter Experts while learning how we operate. Your insights will contribute to our evolution, and we expect that you’ll also be adaptable in your work. Curiosity and flexibility are key. We will strategize critically as an ongoing process.

What You’ll Do:
- Understand project scope by having a clear high-level understanding of our product offering
- Create and manage project plans and schedules for assigned projects
- Identify stakeholders (external and internal) and assign tasks accordingly.
- Follow up project deliverables to ensure schedule is accurate.
- Anticipate risk and have mitigation strategies in place.
- Have project reports and dashboards available on demand.
- Present projects status to the team and company executives regularly
- Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Partner with technical and operations resources as they develop integrated software solutions and support systems to serve the partners and clients
- Work cross functionally internally to solve implementation challenges
- Serve as primary point of contact/driver for project completion with existing customers through implementation
- Coordinate all implementation activities including those executed by Implementation Managers (SMEs), IT developers, QA resources, Marketing, Finance, Training and Client Services.
What We Seek:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three to five years of project management experience.
- Background in delivering projects for external customers.
- PMP certification is a plus but is not required.
- Experience with Smartsheet is helpful.
- You can build a project schedule or a project plan from scratch if needed.
- You can effectively work from home.
- You thrive in ambiguity and like building processes instead of having your tasks laid out for you step by step.
- Have a positive and respectful attitude towards clients, vendors and everyone who interacts with you.
- You have enthusiasm for software implementations.
- You demonstrate exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
- You are a strong leader who enthusiastically serves product and project teams.
