JOB TITLE: Workday Project Manager
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
-Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
-Six or more years of relevant work experience.
-Experience in Project Management, leading large programs.
-Previous Workday HCM SI (system implementation) PM experience.
-Knowledge of Google Suite.
DESIRED SKILLS:
-Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships as well as work collaboratively across departments and vendors.
-Ability to manage changing priorities.
-Experience preparing and delivering management presentations and reports.
-Experience motivating, delegating and influencing teams.
JOB DUTIES:
Project Management of HCM Transformation program, Project Aurora. This is a multi-year program to move Verizon's on-prem PeopleSoft HR processes and systems to Workday HCM Cloud. You will help guide the redesign and streamline of our HR processes and increase our data analytics capabilities. The go-live is planned for Oct 2022, followed by ongoing release management, optimization, and enhancements to be managed long term, along with the broader portfolio.
Along with the System Integrator PMO, you will jointly ensure effective risk, issue, budget, and resource allocation tracking and adherence to timelines.
Meeting with key System Integrator and Verizon leads regularly to address project-related issues and risks, and be fully aware of project status.
Partnering with cross functional teams to resolve issues impeding the progress of the project.
Supporting project delivery, risk and issue management, and quality control.
Leading project team to clear decisions in line with guiding principles and preparation for post-live support and adoption plan.
Leveraging appropriate PMO tools throughout the project to track resources, tasks, and deliverables. This includes managing dashboards, trackers, and PM decks and/or facilitating conversations in various meetings. (PM, Leadership, Steering Committee, Enterprise Council, Executive Council)
Create or gather presentation content for multiple project leadership meetings.
Ensuring effective management cadence is followed, and appropriate materials and deliverables are prepared for each checkpoint.
Managing overall project communications from the PMO to the project teams, leadership and internal/external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
