How you will make an impact?
Support the delivery of business transformation programs and projects. Develop cases and the associated executive-level material, coordinating program status material, and coordinating initiative status and risks. Support the Program Manager and the Program Lead keep an updated view on the status of capability initiatives and take appropriate actions to handle risks.
Responsibilities:
- Works with Program Management team and leaders to implement capability initiatives
- Drives project management across workstreams to drive interdependencies
- Support the development of cases to highlight and track the benefits and costs associated with the program
- Actively involved in preparing executive-level presentation to report initiative progress, drive decision making and work on analytical documents for senior management and collaborators on a regular cadence weekly/monthly/quarterly as well as ad-hoc analysis and presentations
- Coordinate on regular project status reporting in accordance with project management standards; maintaining meeting minutes, action items, agendas, RAID logs, and scorecards
- Create tools and templates that enable monitoring and reporting of action items, results and achievements, and risks
- Promote integration and coordination with functional teams and ensure streamlined communication between the teams
- Closely coordinate the project progress and proactively identify risk and issues, figure out impact of risks and issues, and escalate any issues or blockers that need to be addressed on priority
- Participate in project team meetings, providing analytical support to achieve project objectives
- Supports the Program leadership with Finance Evolution roadmap updates
Qualifications:
- Experience in project management, management consulting, or corporate finance
- Tracking project goals, risks, and issues, play-testing mitigating strategies and communicating the same to senior management
- Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving
- Effective and efficient communication of complex ideas-verbally and in writing
- Solid track record in working on large programs
- Experience in processes, workflows, metrics development
Expected behavioral competences:
- Collaborative team member with the ability to report important issues and options clearly to supervisor
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and coordinating teams in programs
- Analytical capacities to synthesize large quantities of data and present it to the leadership
Education/Experience:
- Project management on implementing and navigating organizational change strategies (people, process, technology)
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 5 years
Knowledge, Skills, Capabilities:
- Solid understanding of Project, Program and Portfolio Management Principles
- Developing executive presentations with effective storyboarding, status update
- Shown understanding of Corporate Finance and Accounting principles
