Job Title: Project Manager III, Product Data Management, Life Sciences

Location/Division Specific Information
  • Position can be 100% remote
  • May require travel of 0-25%% of the time


How will you make an impact?
  • Leads mid to high profile projects to support Quote to Cash and/or Manufacturing integrations and acquisitions, product transfers, site consolidations and new or changes to system/application.
  • Drives and communicates project status, changes to data standards, systems (Agile, SAP, E1) and processes to appropriate partners.
  • Build and maintain project plan to achieve project results and landmarks by utilizing project management standard methodologies.


What will you do?
  • Leads PDM work-stream independently in multifunctional, mid to high profile scope projects, and/or supports other projects, as appropriate. Exercises professional judgement to identify next steps.
  • Applies experience and logic to resolve a variety of moderately complex problems.
  • Drives data gathering, analysis, verification and socialization of landmarks and work you're doing.
  • Leads projects that may require business process updates and/or system configuration for a project timeline of >9 months.
  • Drives governance to the data standards and supports new initiatives for process configuration, as needed.
  • Owns approach and plan to deliver landmarks with clear ownership and due dates. Able to plan and coordinate project resources and objectives, as necessary.
  • Coordinates and drives project team meetings to provide project status to partners and actively communicates any scope changes, as needed.
  • Serves as a mentor to PDM team members supporting projects to address data/process requirements and issues.
  • Coordinate with process owners to transfer projects to standard business process.
  • Recognizes situations that are not explicitly called out in procedures or are ambiguous; works with external resources to recommend resolutions or clarification.

Education
  • Bachelor degree or equivalence experience. Applied technical knowledge of Product Life Management and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
  • Project Management Certified, preferred.
  • PPI (e. g. Process Improvement, Lean Six Sigma) trained.


Experience
  • 4+ years of relevant Product Life Cycle/Data Management experience.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Possess deep understanding of Agile PLM, E1 and SAP4.7 and how each system supports existing processes.
  • Has strong demonstrable understanding of key Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes including New Product Introduction, Site Extensions, Discontinuation and Changes to existing products.
  • Understands downstream systems (e.g. Siebel, Web, Trax, Hybris, etc.) that may affect internal and external customers.
  • Possess the ability (verbal, written, and email) to communicate effectively and influence internal leadership.
  • Ability to multitask and work with multi-functional teams.
  • Understand and guided by project' goal and objectives.
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills; self-starter who can be productive and make progress.
