Project Manager II
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for assigned projects. These projects may involve the implementation of a combination of Software, Hardware, and services within the organization. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful on-time completion of projects and for managing interactions between different internal departments, as well as clients and vendors. This role works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. The work performed in this role will directly impact the productivity and effectiveness of the project team and resulting in customer satisfaction. The project manager serves as the primary contact for our clients throughout their software implementation projects.
Job Duties
- Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects
- Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project
- Works on challenging and large scale projects with minimal supervision
- Consistently forecasts revenue accurately for projects
- Assists with onboarding of junior project managers when needed
- Able to lead small group team meetings on process and product
- Participates in the development and implementation of standard project management processes and best practices
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience
- B.A. or B.S. degree or an associate's degree or certificate with equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of project management methodology and processes
- Intermediate skills in MS products including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingly collaborates and shares knowledge with others
- Practices strong communication skills with a customer service focus
- Able to comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes

- Strong knowledge of project management methodology and processes
- Works independently
- Plans his or her and other Project Manager's projects
- Understands Risk Management independently and will escalate to Supervisor to assist with Risk Mitigation Plan
