Project Manager, Digital Workplace (REMOTE)

The Role:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Workplace (Facilities & IT) team! You will be tasked with leading Digital Workplace teams and coordinating with exterior teams (Meraki and broader Cisco) to deliver projects within our portfolio. You are a highly organized person with solid experience in managing a variety of projects. You are able to quickly develop positive relationships and dive into delivering existing projects as well as planning future ones. Meraki’s Digital Workplace team sits at the center of what we do at Meraki, with a mission to deliver services and solutions that enable Merakians around the world to do their best work. As part of our team, you will work closely with other teams throughout Meraki and Cisco to deliver work which enables efficiency throughout our organization.
What you will do:
- Work with the Digital Workplace PMO on strategic and special projects for the Operations organization
- Partner with global facilities leads to deliver facilities projects
- Work together with IT leads to successfully deliver technical solutions, systems integrations, or process/systems implementation projects
- Determine level of resources (people, tools, funding) vital to successfully meet project goals
- Define governance structure, objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities, and framework to deliver each project
- Build project timeline / plan to schedule key landmarks and activities to manage to a timeline ensuring dependencies and impacts are communicated throughout the project
- Defining project governance, objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities including coordinating resource requirements from both internal and third party
- Proactively raise risks, issues, blockers and work with partners to mitigate and resolve them
- Outline and supervise budget based on requirements to complete projects within cost
- Build and manage Business Requirements & Design, Change Management, Process Mapping, and other project related documentation
Must-Have Skills And Experience :
- 5+ years of working in a project management and delivery environment
- 3+ years working on technical and non-technical projects using standard project management lifecycle methodologies and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficient at communication in written and oral form
- Able to effectively setup and facilitate meetings
- Motivated self-starter, flexible and adaptable to change
- Effective partner management & conflict resolution skills
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in Construction & Facilities with space planning, office moves, and growth modeling
- Experience working in management consulting and/or product management
- 1+ year of experience in business process and requirements analysis and documentation
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
