Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager (Cyber Security)

The Infrastructure and Data Recovery (IDR) program is partnered with the Enterprise Technology Strategy to deliver a POP and physical data center presence that compliments the journey to cloud and safeguards our data. This highly visible program is comprised of three integrated work streams, DC Topology, Cyber Recovery, and In-Region Recovery.

This position is for a Migration Lead to support the In-Region Recovery work stream of the IDR program. This work stream is responsible for optimizing hosting and fail-over of application workloads and increasing resiliency of critical services between in-region data center facilities, inclusive of network, distributed systems, and Mainframe. This role is focused on leading migration events to ensure that applications can automatically failover between data centers.

Skills:
• Strong project management skills in order to facilitated multiple application migrations
• Leadership skills to ensure that deliverables meet program outcomes
• General IT Infrastructure knowledge to support creating, integrating and managing a plan to deliver across many technical domains working with specialists in each
• Experience in cloud or data center migrations, and/or major network implementations a plus
• Clear communication and relationship management skills in order to work with SI teams during application migrations.

Responsibilities include:
• Migration of workloads to new systems in order to minimize time commitment from application teams
• Communication with stakeholders and clients
• Coordination of all applications and VMs needed to migrate
• Collection and consolidation of task collection workbooks
• Ensure applications are optimized and prepared for automated failover from DC1 to DC2
• Partnering with platform and program leaders and architects to deliver, implement, and customize solutions to ensure RTO and RPO goals
• Decomposing overall work stream timeline into milestones and highlighting work stream interdependencies
• Tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and removing team impediments
• Providing status on deliverables and walking critical path of activities at program review
• Risk and controls management, including project documentation to support audit examinations and control reviews
