Domino’s customer enablement team performs a variety of services to deliver our data science platform to customers, from simpler deployments into managed AWS accounts to larger efforts with detailed, customized solution designs. These span infrastructure provisioning, software installation, and systems integration in customer infrastructure supporting advanced analytics and machine learning. 

The Deployment Project Manager is a key position for Domino, responsible for ensuring that Domino predictably and reliably delivers our product to our new and existing customers. You will manage the full portfolio of deployment projects across our rapidly expanding customer base. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build and own the customer engagement master plan with a planning horizon of several months
    •  Partner closely with Customer Success Managers. Ensure projects are well defined.
    • Know customers’ needs, expectations, and relative strategic importance
    • Own the plan and schedules for delivering the Domino platform in multiple concurrent engagements (provisioning, installation, integration, configuration, & training) 
    • Know the relevant SOWs and the technical & soft skills required to fulfill them . Manage that plan 
    • Be familiar with solution architects and engineers’ individual profiles, including technical and soft skills, WIP capacity, and location. 
    • Lead weekly resource planning with customer success, operations, and sales engineering. Decide on and coordinate resource allocations 
    • Handle emergent requirements in stride 
    • Track project status and ensure progress on tasks in project tracking system .Communicate the plan 
    • Regularly communicate projects’ status, outlook, and risks to stakeholders
    • Ensure that trade-offs and opportunity costs are clearly comprehensible for decision makers when reordering is called for 
  • Drive Improvement
    • Track key project delivery metrics, understand the factors that influence them, and strive for continuous improvement 
    • Partner in team capacity planning by identifying gaps or imbalances in staffing and/or skills to Customer Success and Engineering management 
    • Work with CS and Engineering managers on training and leveling up staff with judicious project assignments 

Qualifications and required skills: 

  • 4+ years of experience in project management or resource management in an enterprise software company
  • You are systematic, meticulous, perceptive, professional, and people-oriented You’re able to coolly assess and balance competing demands for time & resources in a fast-paced environment
  • You can coordinate schedules and resources across many concurrent, distinct projects ensure all needs are met and can take unavoidable volatility in stride
  • You’re a great communicator, including actively managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders and handling conflict
  • You foster collaboration and build consensus, but can cut through noise and make independent decisions as needed
  • You’re a connector: you build bridges and grow effective working relationships Flexibility in working hours is sometimes required due to internationally distributed clients and team members
  • Tools experience would include Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace
