The Dataiku Customer Operations Project Manager (PM) is responsible for helping lead, organize, and motivate various team leads and individual contributors to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering Operations projects that meet the needs of our Customer Operations Team. Projects will vary depending on complexity, scope, and approach and the PM will need to be comfortable working in either an Agile or Waterfall environment. This role will also partner closely with Customer Operations Leadership and other Dataiku Operational leaders to help execute against a roadmap and approach projects with an overarching program mindset. This role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may cross multiple business domains and is responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility high impact projects. The PM will work with various Dataiku teams to successfully plan and execute projects including, the management of project scope, issues, risks, stakeholders, budget, financials, and communications. The PM will also negotiate Dataiku resource commitments to help ensure the successful completion and implementation of internal Dataiku projects.


In this role you will:

  • Prioritize, sequence and resource projects in alignment with key quarterly or annual department goals
  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines in collaboration with various Operations Stakeholders 
  • Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to help complete them
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple work-streams are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicate with executives, regional or department heads to ensure goal tracking and alignment
  • Perform occasional quality control on the project throughout to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for any project or scope change

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • 3-8 years project management experience in either a Software or Services Organization 
  • Proficiency in the applications and processes related to Project Management 
  • Experience with Asana, Airtable, JIRA, SalesForce is a plus.
  • PM Certification is a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus 
  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward or obtain results
  • Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously or in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workloads across multiple groups
  • Familiarity with working and collaborating with internal or technical Stakeholders
