We are seeking a Project Manager (AFC Specialist) to join our team at Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority (MARTA) Headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will manage all aspects of project planning, project design over all coordination with architectural/engineering professional. You will also manage project procurement of AFC material, equipment, contractors, and all construction activities. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development and implementation of project management plans and strategies for MARTA's long-range AFC goal.
- Develops plans, strategies, goals, and objectives for Project Management staff to implement the Authority's long-range Capital Improvement Program.
- Prepares and implements project management plans to guide project activity, including communication plans, risk management plans, change management plans, etc.
- Directs the preparation of agreements with entities such as public agencies, private utilities, and railroads connected to capital projects.

- Manages work performed by staff, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitors and controls the progress and performance of all AFC vendors and consultants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- 10 or more years of progressive experience as a Project Manager
- Previous experience with Automated Fare Collection (AFC) projects
