Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has a Project Management opening in Salt Lake City, UT.

In this position you will:
• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of new and ongoing projects and serves as liaison between operations factory management, program management, business management, engineering, MRP scheduling/planning, production control, mission assurance, and global supply chain.• Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.• Coordinate and plan support of factory production schedules in support of Annual Operating Plan and Indicated Final goals set by program management and business management. Includes creation of baseline schedules in coordination with MRP scheduling and factory management.• Oversee inputs of new demand orders into the planning system and coordinates, forecasts, and reports on performance and risk to contract schedules.• Assess risk to projects and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving, and leads project teams as required to ensure performance to objectives and address risk.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typical Minimum Education or Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters
  • Experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Operations, Scheduling, or Production Control arenas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent presentation skills to supporting teams, managers, and executives, including writing as well as presenting.


MANUMS

Salary Range: $58,800.00 - $88,200.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
