A Day in the Life

Reporting directly to the Director of Trade, Logistics and Supply Chain Projects, you will support cross-functional collaboration with R&D, PMO, RQ/QA/QE, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Excellence, Corporate initiatives and leadership.

As theProject Management Specialist-Strategic Programs, you will:

 

  • Monitor performance to the global standards for distribution, logistics and trade in Manufacturing sites and/or Sterilizer.
  • Ensure capture of any additions to value including assists provided to CM/OEM
  • Run reports and work with partners to identify products requiring trade information
  • Mange intake new item form/worksheet (pDP, GIC)
  • Request product information from various contact in the Operating Units and Operating Networks
  • Stage product information for Enterprise and Region Trade Process Teams
  • Solicit suppliers for certain product information or certification (FTA, COO)
  • Analyze information to ensure it meets the needs of the Trade Processes
  • Seek, solicit and provide product information and DG testing documentation to support classification.
  • Support the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 

 

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

 

  • Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience supporting programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, product architecture, design proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Microsoft project and other project management tools
  • Capability to understand customer/business needs and translate into priorities
  • Project management and milestone management capabilities
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Business and Finance acumen
  • Lean Six Sigma training
