Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION
The JPMorgan Chase Global Technology Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (GT DEI) Team focuses on fostering a more inclusive, diverse and innovative technology culture through strategic programs that broaden the entry-level talent pipeline and positively impact the experience for existing employees across Global Technology. The team is focused on attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining a diverse workforce for Global Technology is aligned with the firmwide Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Team's strategic pillars.
The Global Technology Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Community and Technology Center Lead plays a key role in driving Global Technology's overall D&I agenda forward. The incumbent will work closely with the Global Heads of Global Technology Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Global Tech D&I LOB Leads, and other key stakeholders to execute on Global Technology's D&I path forward.
As an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including :
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
• Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
• Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
• Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
• Excellent leadership, executive presence, and facilitation skills
• Experience with budgetary governance over globally scaled programs
• Comfort with public speaking, as well as leading large conference calls, webinars, training sessions, and telepresence meetings
• Ability to leverage existing networks and quickly develop new networks of internal and external stakeholders to drive programs
• Advanced MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Extremely flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
• Knowledge of DEI practices preferred
Responsibilities include:
• Leading and influencing the implementation of the DEI initiatives across Global Technology
• Analyzing and reporting on key diversity metrics and leading indicators; assisting in creating executive summaries and communicate recommendations in partnership with key stakeholders for improving metrics
• Working with the GT Community and Technology Center Leads to manage ongoing strategy, governance, and evolution of the overall DEI program in alignment with firmwide pillars (Careers and Skills, Financial Health & Wealth Creation, Business Growth & Entrepreneurship, and Community Development, Emerging Technology & Ethical Code) from a tech perspective
• Managing agenda/materials, outcomes, and action items for recurring meetings with the GT Community and Technology Center Leads
• Coordinating GT DEI updates for the Global Technology Leadership Team, GT Community and Technology Center, and other stakeholders as needed
• Maintaining GT Community and Technology Center DEI scorecards and progress made towards goals track key milestones and team deliverables centrally
• Partnering with GT Technology Communications team to develop and manage strategic communications (internal and external) that reinforce our inclusive culture globally
• Managing overall GT Community and Technology Center budget and provide monthly reconciliation summaries to senior management
• Collaborating with all Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion council communities to plan, execute, and track diversity and inclusion programs across Global Technology with a focus on global tech centers
• Implementing initiatives to support the growth/maintenance of a culture of inclusion across the firmwide technology function
