Integrated Oncology, a LabCorp Specialty Testing Group, is seeking a Laboratory Project Director to work in Phoenix, AZ. The Project Director will ensure the site is utilizing the most effective and efficient workflows, meeting all quality requirements, consistently meeting TAT expectations. This will require a high degree of collaboration and communication within and across multiple disciplines and locations to implement process improvements as well as new areas of technology.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides project management guidance and assistance directly to Site Director and VP on a broad range of business opportunities of a complex nature. May provide specialized technical expertise in appropriate project need areas. Will work with significant autonomy and require only casual supervision.
  • Responsible for managing quality focused projects to ensure there continues to be a strong quality program in place. Includes but is not limited to the SOP's, logs, validations, and preparing for quality audits/ inspections related to new and existing projects.
  • The Project Director should have an understanding of the financial impact associated with the projects and how it relates to the overall P&L of the site.
  • Collaboration and communication with internal or external customers as well as vendors involved in active projects.
  • The Project Director should have an understanding of the impact of projects on employees and how it relates to employee retention.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • At least 10 years of Project related Experience required
  • At least 5 years of Project Management Experience required
  • Four years of Operations Management experience
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Must be able to pass a color vision test
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
