Job Description

Jacobs has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator (Mid level) supporting our long-term project in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Project Coordinator will work under the general direction of a Project Manager and/or Contracting Officer's Representative to support construction, design/build, architecture, and engineering projects.

General responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary contact for construction program procedures and policies.
  • Correspond with upper management regarding goals and objectives of construction programs.
  • Carry out administrative tasks as required to facilitate an efficient working environment.
  • Organize and utilize hard copy and electronic file management systems.
  • Communicate and negotiate with clients, customers, and supervisors.
  • Ensure business operations and efforts are always favorable to the business objective.
  • Manage and expedite construction contractor Request for Information (RFI) inquires.
  • Manage and expedite construction contractor submittals.
  • Manage and track construction contractor design comments and responses.
  • Manage and distribute project construction drawings and documents to the Integrative Project Team (IPT).
  • Provide budgetary support to the Project Manager (PM) through budget tracking.
  • Create and manage project related requisitions.
  • Document and manage lessons learned and risk logs.
  • Answer customer or client inquiries.
  • Perform additional tasks as may be required by superiors.



Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • Active, fully adjudicated TOP SECRET Clearance
  • Candidates with an active SECRET clearance are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 3-5 years prior experience working as a program analyst or related field for construction, design/build, and architecture and engineering projects.
  • Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail with an extraordinary ability to multitask.
  • Reliable and diligent worker
