POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator will work with various members of the project team and the client to develop a timeline, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time using tools defined by the PMO. The Project Coordinator may work under a project manager to help with administrative tasks on a specific project. While Program and Project Managers oversee the process from planning to completion, the Project Coordinator's role is more focused on assisting and executing specific stages of a plan.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support project teams through the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closing of their projects by providing support to Program and Project Managers.
  • Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams
  • Providing information and regular support to stakeholders
  • Being point of contact for various working groups
  • Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
  • Understanding formal escalation and review processes
  • Providing support to project managers and business leaders when requested
  • Thorough project documentation
  • Creating and reviewing of reports
  • Knowledge of industry best practice
  • Assist in project reporting, including project specific metrics/reports and financial output
  • Safeguarding the privacy and security of protected health information and European Union personal data.

EXPERIENCE:

  • High energy, self-motivated, approachable and articulate team player.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership potential with the ability to lead a cross-functional team (assay development, laboratory, clinical, software, etc.) through a complex development program.
  • The ability to forge strong internal and external partnerships coupled with excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with standard project management software and enterprise resourcing planning is ideal.
  • Independent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and project priorities and adjust as needed.
  • Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities.
  • Excellent work planning and execution/delivery skills – includes problem solving, prioritization, and task-level influence skills.
  • Experience operating at the individual project level for organizational project management is ideal.
  • Ability to coordinate multifaceted projects, including multitasking, deliverables management and timeline management is ideal.

EDUCATION:

  • BS minimum with relevant training in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and/or Biological Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Project management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®) or equivalent experience is ideal, but not required


In Colorado, our competitive compensation package includes a base salary starting from $69,000 per year.  In determining the final salary offered, we will evaluate a specific candidate's geographic location, education, skills, and experience.
