Paxful is searching for a Software Engineering Project Manager to join our Engineering Team. This role will help drive internal and external software development initiatives and projects. You will be based out of Saint-Petersburg, Moscow or Remote in Russia and report to our VP of Engineering
As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will entail:
Manage internal and external software development initiatives and projects including analysis of requirements and scope, evaluating technical solutions and driving execution
Track milestones / status of engineering initiatives and projects, manage risks, provide status reporting to involved team members and management team
Help introduce internal engineering process improvement (engineering operational initiatives, interactions with other departments, etc.)
Work with BI data, help build engineering operational reports and dashboards
The most important skill and capabilities for this role are:
Past experience in software development, quality assurance, managing software requirements or similar
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and how software is built
3+ years work experience in managing software development projects
Experience with project management tools would is desirable
Advanced English (both written and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office / Google Docs or equivalents tools
Experience working with BI tools to work with data and reporting would be a plus
Multi-tasking and organizational skills, effective communication
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment
Target experience:
Technical University degree or equivalent
3yrs + of experience in managing software development projects
