Amplify's Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) team is seeking a contract Project Coordinator to provide logistical, communication, and project management support across teams. The Project Coordinator will contribute to a particular state project for the first year of their product launch. The ideal candidate is well organized and approaches their work with incredible attention to detail. This person also possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; a love of education; a passion for helping young people; understands issues of equity, diversity, and justice; and is an eager teammate willing to support the team and learn.
This is a 3-6 month contract position
Responsibilities of Project Coordinator:

  • Liaise and support communications across internal and external teams,
  • Develop and utilize tracking databases to monitor schedules, processes, and project statuses
  • Coordinate project handoffs between teams across platforms and multiple key partners, including Proof, email, Google Drive, Smartsheets
  • Support Project Managers on tracking and communicating project status, budget, issues, risks, and decisions in a change-laden environment
  • Propose and advocate for process improvements standards to meet team objectives
  • Lead all aspects of small to medium sized projects in WorkFront
  • Support Project Manager on administrative components of work
  • Develop, monitor, and execute email communication and meeting takeaways for key partners
  • Provide Quality Assurance across delivery channels


Basic Requirements of the Project Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience effectively managing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Experience using Google Apps and other relevant professional software


Preferred Requirements of the Project Coordinator :

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, basic Excel
  • Experience with WorkFront and ProofHQ a strong plus, or other project management platforms
  • Decision-making and critical thinking ability
  • Fluency/biliteracy in Spanish a plus
  • Experience synthesizing large amounts of disparate information into concise, measurable, and impactful reports or other communications medium
  • Possesses relationship-building skills to request, collaborate about, and disseminate information across organizational teams and functions
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and information management skills
  • Experience working in a professional service delivery environment
