Technical Program Manager 2 \\n\\nA Program Manager-2 is part of a key team of Technology professionals managing technical programs that deliver significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. The Program Manager partners with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch technology solutions. This position interacts with people in both business and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement. This position works across department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk and complexity.\\n\\nAs part of the Inventory Technology organization, this Program Manager will support our Organization Data & Services team. This team focuses on building capabilities enabling efficient and accurate data management of Stores and Warehouses, Functional and Administrative hierarchy.This is a critical platform suppling data to multiple systems throughout the Nordstrom ecosystem including the Nordstrom.com.\\n\\nThe Program Manager partners with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch technology solutions. This position interacts with people in both business and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement.This position works primarily within department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk and complexity focusing on Inventory movement of product within Inventory Management and partnering Nordstrom ecosystem.This position will focus on API services layer of Inventory Management as an integration layer between foundation systems such as Merchandising, Supply Chain and Store/Customer experience applications.\\nDo you have a passion for solving business problems with technology? Join our team and be on the cutting edge of retail technology geared at connecting consumers with the products they love.\\n\\n\\nA day in the life...\\n\\nThoroughly understands the standards, concepts and principles of program management to solve practical needs of the business, while independently managing small to moderate programs\\nProactively manages work execution through program dependencies, risks, schedules, budgets and understands the importance of requirements gathering, prioritization, and clear stakeholder communication\\nFamiliar with Agile development concepts, planning and ceremonies\\nUses data to report status, performance and communicates using fact-based and relevant data\\nPossesses awareness and practical experience with technology (e.g. Cloud, APIs, services, Windows stack, open source, database technologies, etc.)\\nApplies engineering lifecycle knowledge to feature design, task estimation, design review, story creation, triage, schedule and performance standards\\nReads basic code constructs, and understands estimates of effort to complete engineering work streams\\nCan perform basic data analysis and testing tasks when needed\\n\\n\\nYou own this if you have...\\n\\nA 4-year degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience\\n3+ years of Project management experience\\n3+ years of demonstrated successful program delivery\\nAn understanding of SDLC methodologies\\nExperience translating technical requirements into plans\\nExperience translating business requirements into executable technical tasks\\n\\n\\n#LIAM1\\n\\nThis range may vary for candidates hired to work in locations other than Colorado.\\n\\nMinimum = $70,600/annually\\n\\nMaximum = $112,700/annually
