What does a great Program Manager do?

The Program Manager will work with the Cyber Security organization to deliver on critical cyber security initiatives that defend and protect Fiserv's technology. You will be responsible for monitoring cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. Furthermore, you will be responsible for stakeholder management particularly stakeholders external to the organization. You'll join a highly motivated team full of the brightest minds in the country, coming together to work on enhancing our cyber security. In addition, you'll work for the biggest Fintech on the planet - a place that will appreciate your hard work and efforts. You will interact with multiple organizations across the company in order to ensure initiatives designed to protect Fiserv's technology and reputation are adopted and prioritized within the business units.

As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Ensure project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving, Program Schedule, Risk and Issue Management, Scope Change Management
  • Manage the program budget. This includes understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively.
  • Provide clear and concise project communication, both written and verbal to multiple levels of the company.
  • Facilitate/manage program communications and stakeholder, client and program team expectations.
  • Make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgment.


Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years' experience or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven success in delivering programs within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
  • Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle multiple programs and assignments
  • Performs duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures


Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
• Experience managing Cyber Security projects
• Knowledge of Clarity
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps Kanban board
