About the role:
The Program Manager is responsible for leading multiple projects and initiatives under the Marketplace Operations team (MPO). This role is a program and project management hybrid expected to apply critical thinking to prioritize initiatives, ensure all projects deliver value promptly, and apply data-driven approaches to solve problems. Projects will include optimizing existing processes and implementing new capabilities and services. The program manager will be accountable for providing project oversight, managing timelines, risk escalation, and change management across multiple projects. 
The program manager will also be expected to partner with the Director of MPO to support the development and growth of the Visit Success team within MPO. This includes developing tools, templates, and methodologies to support project work across the organization.




Responsibilities

  • Ability to design, structure, and oversee multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Manage operational performance and apply process improvement methodologies to foster data-driven root causes analysis and improvements.
  • Expertise in project management (PMP) and process improvement methodologies (lean/ six sigma); ability to coach and train others in the organization on all related tools, templates, and approaches.
  • Work closely with the project owners and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Analyze current processes end to end, identify opportunities, develop strategies, and implement improvements to business processes and/or infrastructure to enhance, productize and optimize Visit Success tools and workflows to deliver an exceptional experience to both Papa Pals and Members.
  • Collaborate with the Workforce management team to create staffing requirements, generate work schedules, and manage off-phone time, including planned and unplanned time off, training, and meetings, among other potential sources of off-phone time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Program/Project Management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Player/coach willing to roll up one’s sleeves and execute in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong communication skills, developing and presenting executive-level presentations to internal and external audiences, gaining stakeholder buy-in. 
  • Excellent analytical skills; assemble, interpret, and summarize large datasets and translate raw information into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to multitask, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment; comfortable with ambiguity
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
  • Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma Certification
