SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Program Manager to join our team for an exciting and challenging career. The Senior Program Manager will lead a contract providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to our National Security & Space Business Unit. SETA Services are provided in the following areas: Mission Operations (Mission Collection and Mission Management, Flight Operations, Ground Terminal Operations, Ground Systems, Operations Continuity, Space Control, Launch & Initialization), Mission Support (Business Administration, TIER Support) and Engineering Services (Performance Assessment, Integration and Test, Future Concepts and Planning, Systems Engineering, and Configuration Management). The position resides at Chantilly, VA.
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as Customer single point of contact for all contract, technical, administrative, and contractual aspects of the CPAF LOE contract
- Ensures all functions assigned within the scope of SOW including management support, technical services and ad-hoc and surge capability are accomplished
- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in CORE SETA services
- Responsible for the staffing, management, quality, and performance on the contract
- Responsible for all corporate financial and technical reviews of program performance
- Responsible for delivery of all CDRLs
- Provides leadership, guidance, training and resources to the contract leads, program team leads and individuals performers on their team
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance (preferably with CI polygraph)
- Demonstrated project and/or contract management skills to successfully manage a high-performing team providing system engineering technical services across geographically dispersed project locations
- Expertise in Intelligence Community (IC) operations and SETA services
- Minimum five years of experience supporting 24/7 operational environments (GEOINT/SIGINT ) mission (ground and space) systems
- Six (6) years of experience as a personnel manager, DPM, Technical Lead or Project Manager on NRO contracts of a team of similar size, scope and complexity (~150 FTE)
- Relevant experience with IC organizations
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Technical experience in the following areas: Systems Engineering, Mission Operations
Desired:
- Master's Degree, technical discipline preferred, from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager of a team of at least 50 people
