The NPD Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing NPD (New Product Development) programs for assays/reagents within a medical device and/or molecular in-vitro diagnostic company for oncology with the objective to deliver projects/programs on time and budget that meet business objectives and customer needs.

This position is part of the Program Management Office and will be remote or located in Sunnyvale, CA. Our department's vision is to cultivate a growth minded organization that develops people, processes, and leadership in pursuit of A Better Way.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage and lead full lifecycle project/ program management cross functional NDP teams.
• Participate in development and continuous improvement on standard methodologies for project execution and talent development for PMO.
• Participate in critical initiatives to strengthen competencies across PMO.
• Contribute to improvement and implementation of cross functional internal processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant (bio)pharmaceutical field or chemistry/microbiology/science or engineering related with five (5) years of project or program management experience OR Master's degree with three (3) years of experience OR Doctoral degree with project management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Project, Power Point, Visio, Outlook, Excel) is required.
• Must be able to travel 10%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Two (2) years of direct work experience in medical device instrument, biotechnology or life science industry.
• Three (3) years Project Management experience in various aspects of product development and sustaining execution and product launch.
• Experience in Quality System Regulations (QSR) 21 CFR 820; Design Control: ISO 13485:2003, FDA regulations.
