Program Manager: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations

The Program Manager for Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations will act as a change agent and facilitator for significant project management efforts within the global supply chain organization. Project work will entail, process/product transitions, new facility start up, supplier transitions, new capital equipment, etc. This individual will be a key resource in the continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing globally.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with operations and supply chain staff to ensure efficient and timely project deliverables to customers.
  • Develop the program scope and objectives based on the operations portfolio and corporate initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute multiple concurrent projects in a timely manner, with attention to detail and follow through. Provide work direction and general program management oversight to assigned programs including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of program efforts to ensure that the program meets technical and process specifications as outlined in the process documents.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to establish and achieve program and new product requirements, schedules, priorities, performance and profitability.
  • Track project plans and provides detailed reports of progress against plan.
  • Generate project reports and develops appropriate conclusions based upon results to assist manufacturing and operations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessment of strategic, technical, finance, political or business factors impacting the program. Formulate and takes corrective actions to mitigate deviations to the program plans and alerts management of potential problems when appropriate.
  • Report progress in writing and/or in presentations regularly in order to identify internal and external factors jeopardizing the project and escalates issues and recommended solutions to senior management.
  • Advise management on overall program matters as they affect manpower, facilities and financial plans to assure that program requirements are met.



What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in an operations, manufacturing, and/or supply chain environment required
  • Minimum 3 years Project/Program Management experience required
  • PMP Certification highly preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience expected
  • Strong technical aptitude in respect to Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations
  • Strong Business Leader managing remote locations required
  • Process speed and outsourcing knowledge required
  • Strong communication skills in English; Spanish a plus
  • Up to 20% travel at times, occasionally globally
