Program Manager - Studio Technology
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our StudioLAB leadership team. The StudioLAB falls within our Disney Studios Content umbrella, where we prototype and deliver Studios-centric software, hardware and help deliver new content and experiences for The Walt Disney Company. This position will have a strong participatory role in the delivery of next-generation creative and production technologies and directly help drive innovation across our cinematic pipelines and experiences. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Creative Innovation, and will work directly with the Senior Managers and Managers across the StudioLAB, as well as management peers across the technology and innovation teams.
The Program Manager will collaborate with StudioLAB leadership to shape the process, reporting, communication strategy, and stakeholder management that drives results across the team's portfolio. You will be key to ensuring the organization, coordination, and communication of the projects and overall program, promoting best-in-class teamwork, best-in-class management practices, and superb and successful client handling. You are an excellent team wrangler and will bring experience and methods to the role that will help a small, but mighty, team be as efficient and organized as possible. We want someone who is naturally interested in change and innovation, a fast learner with proven experience, and will bring a strong knowledge of and perspectives towards key management and organizational tools and methods that will ensure delivery of excellence.

- Experience designing team communications and systems, using products like Asana, Airtable (or Google Sheets or Excel), Miro, Mural, visual dashboarding, etc.
- Exceptional capability with GSuite, particularly Google sheets, docs and drive, including organization.
- Keynote/Google Slides and distilling detail into high-level read-outs.
- Ability to build and deliver a status presentation to senior management, with calm confidence.
- Strong conflict resolution & negotiation skills, adaptable to shifting priorities, comfortable with ambiguity, and sensitive to cross-functional team needs.
- Will act (and where necessary, lead) with a can-do, positive, and collaborative mindset.

Basic Qualifications :
- Experience in a technology management organization (software or hardware) is highly desired. Comfortable working with subject matter experts in our relevant innovation disciplines - i.e VR/AR/XR, virtual production, rendering, computer graphics, animation, real-time production, editorial, AI/ML, cloud computing, etc.
- 6+ yrs of experience as a Program Manager or equivalent, ideally within a large-scale company's technology department or in film production
- Proven ability to set and meet milestones, with clear and timely communication of risks and blockers.
- Strong written and verbal skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Partnership skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Highly detail-oriented around resource and timeline management, contingency planning, and ability to work with external contractors and consultants, innovation partners, and vendors.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (Creatives, Technical Leads, Executives, Innovation Partners, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in a relevant Program/Project Management discipline (i.e certified scrum master).
- Previous experience working in a Feature or Episodic production environment.
- Experience in film or television technology management is a strong bonus.
