General Summary:

Automotive Software PM position with strong cross-functional communication to develop, define, and to execute plans of record, that includes - schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. The ideal candidate would be able to leverage their engineering background to proactively lead very talented Infotainment Multimedia teams through commercializing of Automotive SW features. Monitors and drives the teams from inception through commercialization by tracking to key milestones, managing dependencies and deliverables, interfacing, and coordinating with cross functional teams as well as 3rd party suppliers for development. The candidate will also attend core meetings and drives alignment and exercise escalation path when necessary. Understanding of Automotive SW product cycle and key SW OS technology, FuSA, ASPICE standard are a key plus when engaging in strategic planning and solving issues that require reconciling multiple approaches with different parties.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Working independently with no supervision.• Making decisions that are significant in impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives; errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results; errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct. • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.• Some financial accountabilities (e.g., manages a small budget, has input into P&L).• Having a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that have substantial impact on the organization).• Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, discuss involvement of business processes (e.g., program change management, communication) and drives decisions necessary for on time delivery. • Manages and takes responsibility for multiple programs/technology with moderate complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines. • Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for multiple medium sized programs which include schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholders' identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, and prioritization. • Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action to ensure program success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.• Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand for multiple medium sized programs with moderate complexity. • Drives teams to identify program issues/risks and create a risk mitigation plan for multiple medium sized or a single complex program(s). Maintains and updates the risk tracker. • Promotes program vision and objectives within the team, ensures program objectives are met or exceeded, presents program vision to management, and gains buy-in from stakeholders. • Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives across the Program Management team. • Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution). This includes the ability to effectively use program management tools to carry out the program management function. • Develops, redesigns organizational strategies and provides overall direction for various functional areas and/or entire organization. Has influence over the formulation and achievement of long-term business plans and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field• 5+ years Program Management or related work experience.• 5+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.

Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field.• 10 to 15 years Program Management experience or related work experience. • 5 to 10+ years' experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.• 3 to 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership • Experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, Salesforce etc.• PMP Certification preferred• Experience and familiarity with automotive SW OS platforms is preferable• Any knowledge of automotive process such as ASPICE preferable

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
