The Program Manager leads the effort and supplies program planning, resource scheduling, fiscal responsibility and is the central point of communication to the customer. They are a highly organized individual with an understanding of all aspects of a Material Handling Equipment project in addition to solid project management skills. The Sr. Program Manager is to ensure that a quality system is ready on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
• Program Manager is a people manager with direct reports. They also can direct a project team consisting of functional project engineers, site manager and commissioning engineers
• Creates bid packages, negotiates any revisions to subcontractor agreements; Selects and manages subcontractor.
• Prepares, publishes, distributes and maintains a project schedule with milestones for all disciplines and customer constraints
• Executes a portfolio of contracts; Facilitates project scope changes, and clarifies and mitigates contract issues with customers
• Maintains up to date financial picture of program, providing accounting with schedule of values for invoicing and monitoring customer payment habits
• Creates and maintains project/program records and archives proper files for retention
• Ensures smooth and consistent communication and exchanges of data between Customers, MHE Project Team Members, vendors, and/or sales team.
• With the aid of the project managers, the program manager prepares and approves a concise and thorough commissioning plan and acceptance test, managing commissioning activities of Project Team Members and ensures customer system acceptance.
• On occasions, the Program Manager may be requested to join the sales team during the proposal stages of a project.
• Travel as a program manager is required and depending on the current assignment(s) may be extensive, up to 50%. Remote work is allowed.
• Requirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/Estimation
• Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis
• SOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru Integrated Master Schedule
• Demonstrate knowledge of Earned Value Management
• Cost & Financials (ex. RDE, spend, forecast, variance)
• Risk Management -Identification & Mitigation- Change Management
• Lead Cross Functional Collaboration, Communicate &Influence
• Provide guidance & Coaching to peers and team members

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business discipline
• 5 years technical experience with program management

WE VALUE
• Comprehensive computer application skills - Office, Project
• Knowledgeable of contract language and accounting functions
• Cross functional team management experience
• Manufacturing and/or materials handling experience a plus
• PMP Certification a plus
