The Program Manager, Operations role is responsible for driving and preparing for product solutions on behalf of Checkr’s Operations department. This role works closely with Operations leadership to understand department needs, scope and define strategic opportunities, and champion solutions to implementation with our Product & Engineering teams. This role is highly cross-functional and expected to liaise seamlessly between product managers, engineers, support teams, and leadership. You should have 3+ years of program management, ideally within technology or consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the process of new product discovery for Checkr’s Operations department, including the scoping of opportunities, quantifying business impact, and advocating for solutions on our product roadmap
  • Champion department objectives, pushing forward solutions to improve Checkr’s candidate and customer experiences 
  • Project manage enablement workflows, ensuring operational readiness in preparation for product launches 
  • Serve as both an operations expert and a product expert; intimately understanding the details of complex workflows and technology stacks to effectively push forward improvements 
  • Build and cultivate strategic relationships with leadership across the organization 
  • Operate as a connective tissue, owning communication channels and key touch-points with cross-department stakeholders

What you bring:

  • Significant years experience with program management, ideally within technology or consulting in a professional working environment
  • Exceptional project management & organization skills
  • Proven ability to build senior-level relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence decision-making
  • Experience working with product development, including the understanding of development cycles and the ability to bridge knowledge gaps between technical and non-technical teams 
  • Experience building systems, processes, and tools to organize and drive change
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to lead effective cross-functional meetings, formulate and deliver clear presentations, and synthesize action items 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; managing multiple complex projects at once
