Role Summary

As Program Manager, you will join the Radio Development Unit team and will be responsible for HW development of high-end OpenRAN 5G and 4G mMIMO Radios for global customer. This position will be based in Richardson, Texas

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discussions and activities of the Radio Development with internal and external teams.
• Lead SoW creation and contribute to contract creation and negotiation
• Lead program planning for Radio HW development
• Drive financial planning including OPEX and CAPEX needs
• Lead day-to-day HW program execution according to the plans and targets
• Drive HW verification to secure performance and quality
• Drive state of the art Technology and Design-to-Cost innovation and execution of the Radio HW
• Co-operate with colleagues across Mavenir's HW development Sites in design tools and lab test systems selections and development
• Drive supplier and component selections to secure best-in-class performance, quality, and cost.
• Ensure production build support for the manufacturing partners for prototypes and volume ramp-up
• Convert customer requirements and expectations to best in class design innovation
• Execute customer trials and PoC activities jointly with PLM
• Provide guidance and leadership

Job Requirements

• Proven program or project leadership track record from complex 4G and 5G radio HW projects
• Solid knowledge of radio systems and mobile networks, especially on 3GPP and FCC LTE 4G and 5G standards in RAN and the interface between the radio network and core network.
• In-depth knowledge on RF, SoC, and electromechanical technologies and technology trends
• Solid knowledge of design tools and test systems
• Solid knowledge of reliability analysis and testing
• Deep knowledge of RF, digital and mechanical design, and verification
• Solid knowledge of electronics, PWB, and mechanical components supplier base and supply chain
• Solid knowledge of cost-efficient manufacturing methodologies and technologies
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• A curious minded person striving for continuous learning and innovation
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills for a variety of audiences including executives, partners, and customers
• Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and concepts
• MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 6+ years of leadership experience in managing 20+ team members. Leadership experience managing people across multiple countries is an added advantage.
• At least 10+ years experience in the telecommunication industry in leading of or working in Radio development roles
