Uber's Mobility Verticals team creates the future of mobility and expands Uber's product portfolio by giving riders more ways to move. The team builds Uber's most important growth products and scales these products across Uber's global markets. The ideal candidate comes from a strong analytical and product background - and thrives in making products grow.
What You'll Do
• Initiate and lead efforts to drive growth through product merchandising, discoverability, and adoption• Build and track growth and revenue goals for each product line• Define portfolio growth strategy and establish a common vision across the company on growth goals and definition of success• Align with key cross-functional partners (Marketing, Finance, Business Development) on growth priorities, leading to optimized operating structures and improved processes• Create strategic frameworks and playbooks to scale new business models using current product offerings• Lead regular communications with Executive Leadership on portfolio growth goals and progress• Able to articulate a clear growth plan for a 0-1 product bet• Considers internal (product dependencies) and external (user perception, business trends) factors in all strategic decisions• Proactive solutions about how to meet growth needs / protect against setbacks• Incorporates the short and long-term trade-offs into business decisions
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of Experience in Operations, Business Consulting, Finance, or a similar analytical role• Large scale, global project management experience• SQL proficiency• Deep analytical experience• Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions• Deep understanding of the user experience• Understanding of supply and demand models
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience working on global projects, or in an international setting• People management experience• Economics or quantitative experience• Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork• Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal and external customers• Strategic alignment, able to bring key partners across functions together
