As the Program Manager for Diversity + Inclusion, you will be an integral part on the Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) team assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of D+I strategies in accordance with Danaher's broader global Human Resources and business goals. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of D+I, you will drive the management, optimization and execution of D+I programs, aligned with the overall Human Resources strategy and priorities.

In this role, you will lead the D+I Community of Practice and work to harmonize programmatic diversity initiatives and share best practices across the Operating Companies (OpCos). A key part of this role will be to help strengthen our global D+I efforts through application of DBS tools and processes. This role requires a responsive, strategic, and customer-focused individual who has demonstrated success being a change agent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Critical team member within Danaher's Office of Diversity + Inclusion in the implementation of the Danaher D+I strategic plan reflecting the overall company culture, business and talent priorities and contributes to the development of a global work environment that emphasizes a feeling of belonging for all associates
  • Develops and executes project plans leveraging DBS; providing direct feedback to and holding team members accountable for progress; creating report outs, presentations and storyboards while keeping critical stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Act as a champion and D+I thought leader, communicating successes, highlighting challenges or barriers to progress and promoting the utilization of standard work and best practices throughout the organization
  • Provides insight and guidance to internal stakeholders on D+I strategy, priorities and approach.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE


The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic. The individual must be an independent thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to multi-task and work on several key projects at a given time. It is important that the individual have superior interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher. The candidate must be globally minded and able to champion Diversity + Inclusion.

  • Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing, and demanding environment
  • Have a proven track record managing multiple projects, programs, initiatives
  • Proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization; ability to promote ideas persuasively, to influence and shape opinions, win buy-in for initiatives and build followership with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure operational alignment and high-impact execution
  • Able to travel 20 - 30%, both domestic and international

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, Military experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience within Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management and/or Human Resources, or equivalent transferable work experience
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business or associate-focused results
  • Demonstrated track record of completing programs or projects on time

    RELATIONSHIPS
  • Reports to Sr. Director, Diversity + Inclusion
  • Position will have exposure and frequent interaction with all levels of management including DHR Executives and Senior Leaders
  • Key internal relationships: Danaher Organizational Learning, Talent Management; Talent Acquisition; Corporate Communications, DBS Office, and OpCo leaders throughout the enterprise globally
