The CCB representative on each of the GT Product Cabinets are accountable to represent the interests of over 100 CCB products - this position will facilitate that engagement to ensure requirements, timelines, & capability sign-off are all clearly documented and communicated to the GT Product. Additionally the role will ensure that GT product changes are communicated to CCB product teams and are represented in the appropriate product backlogs.
The GT Product Operating Model is new so CCB engagement is minimal so far. As a result, the initial top priority will be to build the initial support structure. • Partner with CCB representatives and other SMEs (e.g. Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Data Owners) to design an engagement model best suited for that GT Product
  • Ensure that the CCB representatives on the Product Cabinets have the necessary support with CCB to effectively manage the product relationship

Ultimate goal is to create a community, in partnership with the CCB representative, that will ensure a bi-directional flow of ideas and thoughts to/from GT & CCB.
One of the first points of business within the community will be to prioritize work requested from the GT Products to be delivered by CCB engineers. This role will work closely with the CCB Clearinghouse to integrate work into product backlogs in a clear and concise manner that is actionable by the product teams. As the alignment of CCB to the GT Products matures we will formalize the integration of roadmaps between the two organizations.
Additional expectations of the roll will be to communicate, socialize, & escalate key expectations to/from CCB and GT.
Successful Candidate will have:
  • Ability to balance the discipline of delivery, the opportunity of creativity, and the need to have fun
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels and influence key stakeholders
  • Significant ability to negotiate, influence and lead matrix teams
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate to senior audiences
  • Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes and value-added activities
  • Experience with specific GT Products (e.g. databases, monitoring, authentication, etc.)
  • Strong organization, problem solving, time management, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust easily based on the audience
  • Modern program management skills that compliment a product-oriented organization model
  • Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

An Insider's view of JPMorgan Chase

What’s the vibe like in the office?

My favorite thing about JPMorgan Chase is the vast number of problems we solve, and the diversity it takes to do that. Moving money, enabling payments and producing a world class customer experience are just a fraction of what we work on. Because the office is so casual and open, I get to participate in discussions on all of this.

Nick S.

Executive Director, Software Engineering

What projects are you most excited about?

As one of the largest financial institutions in the world, our scope of impact is huge. Knowing that a system we deliver is responsible for things millions do daily such as paying for groceries, withdrawing cash, or getting a loan pushes us toward solutions that scale, which is the most challenging but also the most rewarding part of our projects.

Edwin T.

Executive Director, Site Reliability Engineering

How does the company support your career growth?

JPMorgan has helped me develop as a professional – both as a technologist and as a business leader. I have taken advantage of executive leadership training and development aligned to the firm’s culture of “How We Do Business.” I feel good about working for a firm that invests in its #1 asset – US!

Lupe C.

Executive Director

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

Empowerment for Idea generation, problem solving and innovation is best coming from those who do the work. I engage my technologist in high profile work and foster an environment where ideas are welcome. Empowerment of our technologists is the key to success. Teams dig in, innovate and identify ways to create a better client experience.

Managing Director, Software Engineering

How does the company support your career growth?

Working at JPMC has been a wonderful experience. I love how much JPMorgan Chase cares about its communities by offering support of technologists to local non-profit organizations through social innovation programs. The company also invests in its employees and provides many learning opportunities to us.
