SAIC is seeking a Program Business Manager to support the Policy and Capabilities, Science Technology Group within ODNI. This position will support lines of effort with scheduling, actions, talking point creation, executive support, event planning, knowledge management, communications, content management and other complex administrative tasks. The Program Business Manager will provide project support to government program leads, directors or deputy directors as needed. This position requires someone with excellent critical thinking skills who is able to work independently with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of the business systems and industry requirements
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results
  • Performs analysis of business and user needs, documents requirements, and translates into proper specifications
  • Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be top level contributor/specialist on most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments
  • Planning and managing the realization of benefits through the integration of new capabilities within business practices
  • Defines the benefits that will realize program strategic objectives
  • Develops the benefit realization plan
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators for benefit realization
  • Manages business continuity during change
  • Prepares affected business areas for transition to new way of working; potentially implementing new business processes.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Clearance: Active TS/SCI (CI Poly)
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience) in liberal arts studies, communications, or other associated discipline, minimum of 10 years of related experience
    • Excellent communication and writing skills to compose correspondence on behalf of senior executives
    • Strong interpersonal, networking, and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to synthesize information from various resources
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Knowledge and experience with full life-cycle project management practices
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Working knowledge and experience with MS Outlook, MS Office, to include SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Desired:
    • 3-5 years' experience within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
    • IT technical knowledge and experience
    • Any of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Business Planning and Consolidation, or Project Management Professional (PMP)
