As a Product Manager, you will have responsibility for setting the strategy for website feature enhancements, understanding customer needs through analytics, and creating a coherent product vision, implementation and go-to-market plan. You will need to be extremely organized, flexible and detail-oriented and work well with people. Extensive experience with online consumer-facing products (whether websites or mobile apps), paired with a deep understanding of user experience, is a must.

    • Lead scrum meetings with both the US and China teams to make sure that the developers have everything that they need to complete their projects on time. Be willing to lead 1 weekly meeting during the evening hours with the team that is in China.
  • Provide project planning and management for the development and launch of new books and physical products on our websites.
    • Own the new book/product from the point that it leaves the Creative department to successful launch on our websites. This includes gathering the business user requirements and entering those requirements into the company's project management software, creating the projected timetable and identifying the milestones for completion.
    • Regularly meet with each department to ensure that the milestone dates for the projects that you are managing are being met.
    • Proactively recognize and resolve technical, fulfillment, and people resource constraints with respect to timelines. Communicate with the leadership team if any projects are facing roadblocks that will hinder meeting the expected completion timeframe.
