As a Principal Program Manager at NuORDER, you will help create and evolve our program management function. You are a big picture problem solver who's able to investigate the details across every aspect of software development. You understand how a large scale SaaS business operates, and are able to hold your own in high level, high stakes, strategic decision making sessions. You'll nail it if you can spot the challenges the organization will face ahead of time and do your part in handling them. You have experience working with executive leadership and partners across Product, Engineering, Support and Customer Success teams.

What will you do?

  • Interact with the executive, product and engineering leadership to drive product planning and decision making. E.g. priorities, high-level estimates and release schedule, headcount requirements, dependencies, etc..
  • Drive day-to-day program activities to ensure product releases are tracking to schedule and meeting objectives. 
  • Communicate product updates across the organization including risks and key dependencies.
  • Develop and iterate on standard methodologies for cross-team collaboration and increase development efficiency. Be a champion for Agile practices.
  • Assess operational processes to identify potential areas of conflict, and develop options to solve/improve

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years of program management and end-to-end product lifecycle. 
  • Strong foundational program management capability. You have created program management processes and structure in an enterprise SaaS organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaboration. You’re empathetic, a people’s person, and are easy to talk to.
  • Ability to drive initiatives and planning (roadmap, release, sprint) in a fast paced startup environment.
  • Experience with agile processes such as Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum, or Kanban (Scrum or SAFe certification preferred).
  • Experience working with geographically diverse development teams.
  • Hands-on experience working with tools such as ProductBoard, Jira, Zendesk. 
  • Strong organizational sense, process driven mentality.
