Your Opportunity

New Relic is seeking a Principal Launch Program Manager to join our amazing team! Reporting into the Business Operations organization, the Launch Manager engages New Relic leadership across the organization to ensure alignment from Product and Marketing to our global GTM teams. You'll shape and lead our product launch process including product release planning and governance model to support release cycles and GTM enablement efforts.

The ideal candidate will ideally exhibit a strong executive presence, drive decision-making, and have clear expertise in issue resolution while operating in a dynamic SaaS environment. Program management skills to drive from early-stage planning to cross-functional execution are highly desired as are strong communication and facilitation skills.
What You'll Do

  • Lead and evolve a launch process that orchestrates product releases across the cross-functional landscape from Product to market
  • Develop close partnership with Product Marketing to drive execution of new product launches in a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Drive project management of launches across multiple product lines, holding cross-functional teams accountable
  • Develop success measures OKRs, detailed plans, and reporting to effectively measure launch success across the product life cycle
  • Partner with product management to thread launch management processes into an end-to-end Product workflow
  • Work with marketing to coordinate product launch content as well as demand generation and customer adoption programs
  • Raise visibility, identify key risks, surface issues, track changes, drive tradeoff decisions, and create mitigation plans to ensure that leadership is aware and aligned
  • Deliver effective communication and reporting on progress and success measures to executive partner groups
  • Continue to improve the existing launch framework by continuously refining and driving process innovation

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of solid experience such as product launches, program management, and/or product marketing in a B2B software company
  • Solid understanding of launch methodology with experience delivering major and minor product releases
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communicator who seeks to proactively improve and optimize processes while bringing many partners along
  • Experience working effectively in a changing environment; adaptable and resilient, working towards solutions during times of change
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills at all management levels
