Zoom is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Global Services Sales organization. This Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the successful deployment of proof of concept (PoC) projects to our highest level, strategic accounts. The relationships with these strategic accounts are critical to the continued growth and innovation of the overall Zoom platform. 

This role will report to Zoom’s Sr. Manager, Global Services Sales and work cross functionally within Zoom while maintaining total ownership of the PoC to ensure overall success. The successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects to Enterprise level customers with global footprints.

Upon completion of the PoC, the TPM will ensure a transfer of information and documentation to the Zoom Professional Services Organization (PSO) ensuring a seamless hand off as the customer enters the Deployment phase. 

Responsibilities:

• Defining project objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities

• Determine impact of known and anticipated business needs by reviewing system configurations in use. 

• Research, evaluate, design and propose solutions to meet business needs in accordance with best practices 

• Defining and managing resource requirements availability & allocation internally, externally and 3rd party as applicable.

• Prepare and maintain a detailed project plan to schedule key milestones, workstreams and activities

• Identifying, documenting and mitigating project risks

• Maintain and track to resolution a project issues and resolution log

• Monitor project progress and prepare and deliver scheduled detailed reports to project teams and Zoom executive management

• Proactively engage directly with the customer about potential future projects and reporting any gained insights to Zoom Account team 

• Maintain all project documentation and ensure transfer of information upon completion of the PoC.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Project Management experience

• Proven success working with all levels of management

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work and lead in a strong collaborative team environment

• Excellent communication and presentation skill

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

• Strong experience with UC Voice/Video best practices, process, and procedures for design, deployment and support

• Experience with migrations to Cloud Voice/UCaaS strongly preferred

• Strong background and knowledge of other Cloud and Premise UC/Voice Solutions (Cisco, Ring Central, Microsoft, 8x8, Avaya, Mitel, Vonage, etc..)

• Ability to Travel
