Minimum qualifications:

About the job

As the Policy Program Manager, you will ensure that the Policy Development team delivers flawless policy launches while also helping the team work better and more effectively over time. You will oversee execution and cross-functional coordination for new policy launches, including recommendations go-to-market strategy, manage the Policy Development team's prioritization processes, manage regular cross-functional communications with partners across Google impacted by changes to YouTube's policies, and help maintain critical internal relationships with cross-functional partners. In addition, you will lead special projects on behalf of the Policy Development team and Director of Global Content Policy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships and coordination with cross-functional partners for new policy launches, including Legal, Public Relations, Public Policy, Creator Support, Enforcement and Operations, and others.
  • Manage the Policy Development team's quarterly prioritization and cross-functional forecasting processes, and ensure that key stakeholders, including executives, receive regular and timely updates on how the team is tracking against those priorities.
  • Identify and drive change management efforts for ways in which new policy launches can be executed more effectively, or ways in which the policy team can strengthen its work and operations.
  • Lead special projects for the Director of Global Content Policy.
  • Support the Policy Development team's efforts to augment inclusivity in the policy development process.
