The People Project Manager will sit with the People Team’s Project Management Office and have organization and company wide responsibilities for cross functional projects, strategic initiatives, and consultative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic alignment and operational excellence across the People team COEs and business
  • Lead complex, cross-functional People projects from conceptualization to execution; focus on top priority projects as defined by the CPO, ELT, and/or the Board of Directors
  • Lead strategic planning for the People team (e.g., setting OKRs, Annual Plan, QBRs, People team roadmap, People Plan of Record)
  • Partner with leaders across the company to research and build business cases for new initiatives; partner cross-functionally to develop requirements and oversee design, implementation, and change management of major initiatives
  • Identify process improvement engagements that span multiple People team Centers of Excellence; audit and assess processes, design improvements, and create new processes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to PLT by analyzing key drivers of our outcomes, identify areas of opportunity and risk, and develop and execute initiatives to address them
  • Design and execute quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop strategic recommendations
  • Deliver strategy consulting services and lead strategic projects in support of Lyft CPO on demand

Experience:

  • 6+ years of Project Management experience - experience in consulting, change management and/or HR preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education
  • Strong working knowledge of state and federal employment laws including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRB, Title VII
  • Experience building and improving workplace policies and practices
  • Proven ability to track, prioritize and drive multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong problem-solver with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Extremely attentive to detail, with superb oral and written communication skills
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
