The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As Project Lead Application Software Engineer you will be involved in analysis, design, development and deployment of solutions for the CAREPath Appeals and Grievance application that is used by our members and providers to file complaints.

As Project Lead you will:
• Responsible for the entire implementation process and drive definition of business needs• Lead cross functional teams through the entire implementation process• Responsible for overall solution design including building and testing• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality• Identify, define and implement needed enhancements in the methods, standards and processes to better enable teams and constructive enterprise applications

Additionally you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Requires demonstrated understanding of business process as it relates to experience in the field. Conduct full-stack development using Pega PRPC V7.x or above, Pega Customer Service Health Care (Pega CSHC), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Core Java, Oracle 12c/11g/10g/9i, RESTful services, Web Services, SOAP, XML, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, SQL Server Profiler.
  • Define design, development, and implementation guidelines for the Pega Call Center application development team.
  • Define high-level architectural direction on new capabilities requested by the business.
  • Experience working in an Agile Environment.
  • Strong team player and experience mentoring junior developers.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Micro services preferred.
  • Experience with Health Care applications development and design is preferred.
