The Outreach Partner Development Manager of Cloud Alliances will be responsible for management and expansion of our global cloud provider relationships with one of key cloud providers (AWS, GCP and/or Microsoft Azure) and driving significant growth in pipeline and revenue through the joint alliance. The candidate will own delivery of Outreach’s Go-to-Market strategy with the named cloud provider. This individual will work closely with the rest of the Global Business Development organization as well as the Field Sales organization and Product Management on our Cloud Strategy execution.


The candidate must be extremely results-driven, customer-focused, technologically savvy and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships, and be accountable for maintaining a pipeline of joint selling opportunities with the named global cloud provider and delivering partner-sourced revenue.


The role will report to VP, Global Business Development and Partnerships.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Oversee the day-to-day alliance relationship and activities with select cloud provider(s)Accountable for working with cross functional teams from Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Legal and Enablement to build and execute an alliance plan 
  • Own global alliance business development efforts and activities to drive and grow partner-sourced/partner-influenced revenue
  • Expand existing relationships and enable our existing partners by developing go-to-market strategies
  • Be a strong spokesperson and evangelist for Outreach Cloud Alliances with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely the joint value proposition to sales leaders and their teams as well as AWS, GCP or MSFT teams
  • Assess cloud provider’s needs on an on-going basis, set goals to meet those needs, track progress and maintain the relationship.
  • Collaborate closely with cloud provider and Outreach Field Sales teams and Field Marketing teams to organize joint events which drive demand generation, pipeline expansion and revenue
  • Promote AWS, GCP and/or Azure Marketplace strategies and drive execution through third party vendors
  • Facilitate ongoing engineering and PM meetings to drive joint roadmap discussions
  • Facilitate alliance and sales team alignment, target account nomination and opportunity planning to drive joint license wins
  • Manage the competitive landscape while assessing strategic opportunities jointly with cloud providers
  • Evangelize Outreach at partner events
  • Travel – 30%

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in alliances development with one of the leading cloud providers – AWS, Google and/or Microsoft
  • B.S. or equivalent educational background is preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience with strategy development, partnership management or business development in the technology industry
  • Proven experience managing alliance relationships with the ISVs and platform players at the executive level
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery models
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proven track record establishing and maintaining strong, productive partner relationships
  • Reporting and analysis capability, including strong analytical skills, technical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude
  • Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills a must
  • Have a flexible and pragmatic mindset with the ability to think quickly on your feet. Can work with little supervision at times and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
